Parking

Students in grade 10, 11 and 12 will need to show a valid driver's license in order to claim a permit. The permit will only be handed to the student who applied.

• Priority 1: Students with academic needs in Grades 10-12 (PSEO, MNCAPS, Work Program, and Bridges) PSEO and MNCAPS students do need a permit to park on campus, regardless of time on campus. If they choose not to purchase a pass, they are welcome to use the free lot.
• Priority 2: Students in grade 12
• Priority 3: Students in grade 11
• Priority 4: Students in grade 10

For the 2026-2027 school year, the parking permit fee for the full year is $250.

• Opens August 10th at 8 a.m. and closes August 21st at 5 p.m. 

  • Only a student can apply with their PLHS gmail account, parents will not have access to the form.

  • Information will be posting to Schoology with a link to the form and information.

  • Complete the form in full.

• August 27th: Information on how to pay and when to pick up your parking pass will be posted to Schoology. If you were approved, you will see an option under the School Store in Infinite Campus at 2 p.m. on this day.

Once you have your license, come to Student Services for more information. It is not a guarantee that parking permits will be available throughout the year. (If there are no permits available a waitlist will be formed)

If you are not selected to receive a parking permit, there is a free lot next to the softball fields with 100+ spots available (see map below Lot C).
 

One student will register for the permit. Any vehicle that will use the permit must be included when the application is filled out. 

If two vehicles registered to a permit are in the lot at the same time, the car without the permit will be issued a ticket.

• Paid MNCAPS & PSEO parking Lot A (hang-tag required) 
• Free student parking in lot C

Yes, when applying for a parking permit you agree to the rules and regulations of the parking lot. Tickets may be given for many reasons, below are some examples. Fees will be assigned in Infinite Campus and tickets will also be mailed home. Failure to pay fines may result in forfeit of the parking permit until they are paid.

• Failure to Display Hang Tag

• No Permit in Lot A or Lot B

• Parking in the wrong area [on the grass, on a curbed area or in a thru lane/fire lane]

• Parking in Visitors, Staff, or Handicap spaces

Yes! Please read the application form carefully as all the rules are outlined on the form. Earning your parking permit back can be done through PLHS Administration.

No refunds will be given unless a student transfers schools or graduates early.

Contact Savage Police to file a report on any damage or accidents that happen in the parking lots.
