Trades Pathway

Prior Lake students interested in the Trades have an opportunity to take part in hands-on learning in the field of construction and other trades based skills. MNCAPS students will be able to take advantage of Prior Lake High School's expanded Industrial Technology wing that offers learning experiences to prepare them for a profession in the trades. The Trades Pathway is enhanced through guest instruction where industry leaders will mentor students and offer on-site experiential learning. The Pathway will culminate with a large-scale construction project. 

Students in the Trades Pathway will acquire high school credits, and college credits earned through Hennepin Technical College based on their eligibility requirements.
